I'm a writer, editor, and university writing instructor currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Idaho.
I graduated from Brown University in 2024 with a degree in Comparative Literature, studying English, French, and Russian.
Before beginning my MFA, I worked professionally with students on college application essays through a premium admissions-writing company. I've helped students develop and refine essays for highly selective colleges and universities, including students who ultimately went on to attend some of the country's most competitive schools.
My approach to editing comes from two places: the craft of writing and the teaching of writing. I care about sentences, but I care even more about the thinking underneath them. My job is not to impose my voice on a student's essay; it's to help them discover the strongest version of their own.
In my free time, I enjoy cycling, running, pretty much any sport, playing music, and cooking!
